Velour repair are done by gluing a base patch into place under the material.  

Then filling with a flexible adhesive and cover with colored velour 

fibers to closely match your car's original material.

Leather and vinyl repairs also use a sub patch under the hole and the appropriate

 flexible adhesive is used to make the structural repair.  Filler putty is used to make the

 repair level.  Then the area is top coated to provide matching texture.  The final step is

 to spray the area with dye that is mixed on site to match your interior color.

These results are terrific.  The repair is nearly undetectable.
